THE THREE CULINARY MUSKETEERS REIGN!
Nikko Bali Resort and Spa appointed a new talented Food and Beverage team,
taking the resort to another culinary level
SAWANGAN, NUSA DUA – APRIL 2012. There is something called the “rule of three”, where it is believed that things that come in threes are better and more effective than in any other number. Thus many stories or characters throughout our lives feature this rule – such as The Three Stooges, Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and The Three Bears and an all time favorite, The Three Musketeers (parts quoted from Wikipedia). But recently Nikko Bali Resort and Spa has taken the “rule of three” into its Food and Beverage Department and appointed three new members to its team who will ‘reign’ over the culinary experience at the resort.
Graeme Ritchie, previously the Executive Chef of Nikko Bali Resort and Spa, took the lead of the entire ‘troops’. His years of experience, attention to details and innovative nature are the key points that led to his recent promotion to Food and Beverage Director in November 2011. He has displayed great results over a short period of time with new ideas and a different culinary approach. One of his achievements was to get a listing in the Michelin guide for one of the restaurants. From restaurants to resorts and city hotels, in Europe andAsia, it can be said that he has cooked his way across the world.
A crucial member of the team, young talented chef Attila Kormoczi, has been appointed as the new Executive Chef. He arrived inBaliback in 2008 and started his culinary journey on the island with two well-known resorts. Gaining most of his experience inGermany, Attila’s current main mission is to refine the culinary experience and develop new selections and looks at Nikko Bali Resort and Spa.
With their own expertise and finesse, these new “Three Musketeers” are ready to face the challenges before them to take Nikko Bali Resort and Spa a STEP UP in the culinary world.
