TO JOIN ‘SHERATON 3K KUTA BEACH FUN RUN’
Campaigning to increase the awareness of healthy lifestyle, Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort does it in a fun and simple way while embracing the beauty of Kuta Beach
BALI, INDONESIA – 14 April 2013 – In order to launch the membership program of Sheraton Fitness by Core Performance™, Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort invites running enthusiasts to join and be part of ‘Sheraton 3K Kuta Beach Fun Run’ on Saturday, April 20, 2013. The event itself is the first sports-themed activities organized by the resort. Started at 6.30 am, the runners are invited to gather at the main entrance gate of beachwalk – Kuta, the most popular shopping mall in Bali today, located in one complex with Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort at the heart of Kuta Beach. In compliance with the name of the show, the runners are invited to compete along the route within three kilometers in Kuta Beach, while in the beginning of the event, all will also be joining a one-minute Silent Pray action for the victims and those who affected by the sad tragedy of Boston Marathon blasts.
It is said that the energy stored in an adult human is enough to run for three days without stopping. But not long endurance that will be the pride of this race event on 20 April 2012, but the feel of joy and togetherness during the ‘Sheraton 3K Kuta Beach Fun Run’ event takes place presented by Sheraton Fitness by Core Performance™ at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort, beachwalk and supporting partners.
Begins with the re-registration process for participants at the officials desk, each runner will also get a free running shirt of Sheraton Fitness by Core Performance™, mineral waters and ‘Color Your Plate’-inspired healthy meal as an energy booster that is specifically concocted by the culinary team of the resort. The runners will also be invited to start the race with a warm up exercise led by the best trainer who is also one of the resort’s associates. This movement is also dedicated to the victims and those who affected by the sad tragedy of Boston Marathon blasts, as all runners are invited to give prayers for one-minute before the run starts.
Participants were divided into two categories, Men and Women. At the end of the event, runners will be invited to come together and interact with the atmosphere full of warmth while enjoying buffet breakfast at Feast®, the resort’s signature all-day dining restaurant with its vibrant open-kitchen. Meanwhile, the winners of the race, the first, second and third-place winners, will have a chance to win a membership of Sheraton Fitness by Core Performance™ at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort as well as the latest running gear presented by adidas Indonesia, such as Clima Cool Revolution running shoes, sports bag and shopping vouchers at adidas Store beachwalk – Kuta.
Not only prizes for the race winners, the resort will also giveaway other prizes, such as dining vouchers, stay vouchers, up to vouchers to enjoy the rejuvenating treatment at Shine Spa for Sheraton for the lucky participants who win lucky draw and ‘The Most Photogenic Runners’ category for those who are successfully caught on camera enjoying the run with full of joy.
